What to expect from an osteopathic treatment
The initial osteopathic appointment involves a detailed health history. A thorough assessment that starts globally and then more specific to the area in question so the root cause can be determined. After health history and assessment, the treatment will commence with whatever time is remaining. Appointments are 60 minutes in length.
Follow up appointments will include a quick interview and assessment at the beginning and then we jump right into the treatment. Home care might also be suggested at the end of each appointment.
Some soreness or achiness might occur later on which is normal as the body adapts to the changes made throughout the treatment. Any concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to Alley.
